About the Operation The Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic is today one of the country's largest clinics for the care of patients transferred under the Forensic Psychiatric Care Act (LRV). We also have the mandate to care for particularly care-intensive patients under the Psychiatric Care Act (LPT). The clinic has 135 care beds, divided among ten departments. This position is a 12-week temporary assignment on a full-time basis, with start date by agreement. There is a possible opportunity to extend the temporary assignment. Job Duties As a caregiver at the Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic, you are part of a multidisciplinary team, and your job duties include, among other things: Providing for the patient's daily needs and forensic psychiatric care Planning care content together with other professional categories Working with the department's daily operations Health-promoting environmental therapy Qualifications We are looking for you who: Are trained as a nursing assistant, caregiver, or have other education or work experience that the employer considers relevant for the position Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing It is a merit if you: Are further trained in psychiatry Have experience working in psychiatry/care or other areas that the employer considers contribute relevant experience related to this field of operation Have additional language skills To succeed in the role, we believe you have these personal characteristics: Personal maturity Stability Collaborative ability Structured We place great emphasis on personal suitability Region Västernorrland With approximately 7,000 employees and over 200 professions, we at Region Västernorrland are responsible for several activities that are most important for residents' ability to participate in society.
