At Unit 96, you will work close to patients in psychiatric psychosis care, together with a safe and experienced work team. Here you will use your expertise, develop in your professional role, and be involved in the entire care process – from daily patient care work to planning and collaboration with other healthcare actors. Job Duties You will work with knowledgeable and experienced caregivers. You will work closely with the responsible nurse. On the unit, we work in care teams close to patients and with contact person responsibility. You will work closest to the patients, converse, observe, motivate/activate, document, and follow their care plans. We document in Cosmic and Cosmic Nova. Additional shifts may occur both on the unit and on somatic units. The work includes collaboration with patients' relatives, outpatient care, and other care partners. The unit works with competency rotation, so your tasks include Blood samples Participation in rounds Documentation NEWS checks Bladder scans Coordination with internal and external actors Participation in care plans About the Workplace Unit 96 is an acute psychiatric psychosis unit. We employ 23 staff members distributed among nurses and caregivers. You are welcome to a workplace with good atmosphere and a safe and knowledgeable work team consisting of nurses, caregivers, social workers, psychologists, and doctors. The unit has 14 care beds and is located at ground level with an outdoor patio. The unit cares for patients with psychotic illnesses in the acute disease state before treatment can continue at a psychiatric outpatient clinic. Our patients often need somatic interventions. If you have education from a vocational university or similar with a specialization in psychiatry, that is also of interest – the education must be approved and we ask that you attach your transcripts/diplomas in your application. Previous experience working in psychiatry with a focus on psychosis care is strongly merited. Language is our primary tool and good knowledge of the Swedish language is a requirement. Other language skills are an asset. We find it important that you have the ability to meet our patients based on their situation and level and can handle threatening and violent situations. We are looking for someone who is confident, mature, and stable in different social situations that may arise. You have a good ability to meet people in different conditions and remain calm and communicative even in critical situations. We also value that you are responsible, flexible, and have empathetic abilities. Your collaboration skills are good and you relate to others in a responsive and respectful manner.
