Specialist psychiatry for children and adolescents provides county-wide psychiatric care at the specialist level in Kronoberg County and serves children and young people under 18 years of age. The operations that are part of Specialist Psychiatry for Children, Adolescents, and Adults have clinics in Ljungby and Växjö, as well as acute operations with a clinic and ward in Växjö. We are now seeking two healthcare assistants for the child and adolescent psychiatry ward, and we are looking for you who want to be involved in our continued work to further develop Region Kronoberg's child psychiatry. Would you be our next colleague? 2 position(s). RESPONSIBILITIES On the ward for children and adolescents, you work closely with nurses and physicians in a team. As a healthcare assistant on the ward, you have varied tasks where you participate in rounds and are involved in planning care and treatment. You are the primary contact person for the patient and family, assist with meals, perform standard nursing care, and organize various activities for patients. The ward has five beds and cares for children and adolescents with various psychiatric conditions together with their guardians. You work from a holistic perspective with both psychiatric and general medical care. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is trained as a healthcare assistant or nursing assistant. You are engaged in your work and contribute to a good work environment. As a person, you are flexible, can easily adapt to changing situations, and enjoy having a rich and varied day. You have an easy way of putting yourself in others' situations, listen, understand, and show consideration. You have a natural ability to create contact and build trust with both patients and their guardians, and you meet people with warmth, engagement, and attentiveness. It is also important that you feel confident in your profession, have experience working independently, and can make your own assessments. Great weight is placed on personal suitability.
