Trojenborgsskolan is a middle school located in the pleasant area of Skänninge, a short distance outside central Mjölby. Skänninge offers good communication via commuter train and bus connections. The school has approximately 200 students. Would you like to be part of creating conditions for learning and development with the student in focus? 1 position(s). DUTIES As a school nurse, you work directly with students and/or families in preventive work to promote wellness, which is the focus of student health services. You will perform health examinations and basic healthcare interventions. As a school nurse, you provide clinic services including open clinic hours, which is part of general preventive and health-promoting work. You are a clear actor in the health prevention work that society directs toward children and young people. You will also administer and perform vaccinations within the national vaccination program. You monitor students' development to preserve and improve their mental and physical health and promote healthy lifestyles. Together with the school's other professionals, you support students toward educational goals and remove obstacles, partly through participation in the school's student health team meetings. You may provide guidance and consultation to the school's other staff. As a school nurse, you collaborate with all parts of student health services and external partners. The assignment is governed at the national level by the Education Act and Health and Medical Care legislation, as well as by the National Board of Health and Welfare's general advice and regulations relevant to the medical component of student health services. QUALIFICATIONS You are a licensed nurse with specialist education as a district nurse, children's nurse, or school nurse. A driver's license is required for the position.
