Job Responsibilities We are looking for a school nurse with an 80% employment position at Turingeskolan. As a school nurse in Nykvarns Municipality, you are employed within the central student health services and placed at one of our schools. Your direct manager is the Head of Student Health Services, who also holds medical management responsibility. Together we work to promote a good and accessible learning environment for our students. Job Responsibilities: As a school nurse with us, you get a varied, challenging, and interesting assignment in an organization with close collaboration both internally and externally. You are responsible for planning and implementing student health medical interventions (EMI) according to guidelines and base programs. This includes, among other things: Conduct health visits and health examinations according to the municipality's base programs and offer vaccination according to the national vaccination program. Offer open clinic services and basic healthcare interventions for students. Contribute your medical expertise to the school's student health work, both in the Student Health Team (EHT) and in our work groups. Work in a multi-professional manner together with school physicians, school psychologists, counselors, special education teachers, teachers, leisure staff, students, and guardians to create the best conditions for learning and health. Your medical expertise and your ability to build good relationships allow you to provide students and guardians with secure support. Can work in a structured and independent manner, but also contribute in a team Have good communication skills and can build relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians Are flexible and driven by taking responsibility for development and improvement Are engaged and organized with good ability to document and follow up Have good knowledge of the Education Act and Health and Medical Care Act, as well as other relevant laws for the profession within student health medical interventions Experience with digital tools and good IT skills. About the Organization The Learning and Growth office in Nykvarns Municipality operates four municipal primary schools and an adapted primary school for grades 1-9. Each school has a primary school nurse who is part of the overall student health services. The Student Health Services' mission is to promote students' learning, development, and health by contributing to increased equity where all are supported to develop toward educational goals in a safe and accessible learning environment. Qualifications Requirements: Licensed nurse with specialist education as a district nurse, pediatric nurse, or school nurse Ability to communicate clearly in Swedish in speech and writing.
