As a school nurse, you will be an important part of the central Child and Student Health team where you collaborate with other school nurses, school physicians, counselors, psychologists, and speech therapists. We value a non-hierarchical climate where we both challenge and support each other. We in student health work primarily with health promotion and prevention according to "Guidance for Student Health" and the assignment formulated in the Education Act.
Each primary and secondary school has a local, integrated student health team where all student health competencies are available and work together. Each school has clear procedures for how student health work should be conducted. An important task is to collaborate with other student health personnel, teachers, and principals to work for a good learning environment and be part of ensuring that students develop and achieve as much as possible.
As a school nurse with us, you have great responsibility, but also great freedom in how your work is planned and carried out. Our ten school nurses have extensive collegial learning and meet regularly to both support each other in the school nurse role and drive joint development and improvement work with a strong focus on the health promotion perspective.
We are now seeking a school nurse for Marbäckskolan, a grades F-3 school in central Svedala with approximately 325 students. Marbäckskolan is a three-parallel school organized into three work teams where teachers, recreational staff, and special educators collaborate for learning and safety throughout the day. Marbäckskolan describes itself as an inquisitive school with great commitment where everyone learns and develops, feels safe and joy, and where in recent years has focused on language as the foundation for all learning.
The work includes, among other things:
contribute expertise in the school's student health work
participate in the school's work to create a good learning environment
participate in school development
participate in the school's values and equal treatment work
provide guidance, support, and consultation to staff and guardians
map and assess a student's needs in order to achieve learning goals
support individual children and young people as well as groups
collaborate with other child and family support services in society

Competence
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with specialist education as a district nurse, child and youth nurse, school nurse, or other appropriate education. Experience working as a school nurse is meritorious. You need to have a driver's license and access to your own car.
We are looking for a person who has good experience working with children and young people and with health promotion and prevention work at the individual, group, and organizational level. You have a structured and organized work style with good ability to plan, document, and follow up on your work. You enjoy working independently, but also in close collaboration with the school's other staff. As a person, you are flexible, engaged, and solution-focused, with a genuine interest in finding opportunities and creating the best possible conditions for children's and young people's health and development.
Work Time/Duration
Permanent position, full-time. Start date by agreement.
