We are seeking an engaged school nurse who wants to work on health promotion and prevention with us at Lillerudsgymnasiet. Here you will meet students in a practical, nature-based educational environment where relationships, safety, and health are important parts of the school's daily life.
About the Role
As a school nurse, you are an important part of Lillerud's student health team and work to promote students' physical, mental, and social health.
You meet with students in student health conversations and in daily contact when they need support or guidance.
The work is conducted in close collaboration with the school counselor, special education teacher, psychologist, school doctor, and school leadership.
Together we work to create a safe environment where students have the conditions to feel well and succeed in their studies.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
In your role, you implement the student health medical services according to laws, regulations, and guidelines, including health conversations, clinic work, health examinations, documentation, vaccination, and administration.
Active participation in the school's student health work and collaboration with teachers and other staff is central.
You are a licensed registered nurse with further education as a pediatric nurse, district nurse, and/or school nurse-specific higher education. Experience from working at the upper secondary level and with the Prorenata documentation system is particularly valuable.
The position is 60%, depending on your preferences. Temporary employment for 12 months with a start date of December 1st or by agreement.

About Lillerudsgymnasiet
Approximately 270 students study at Lillerud and we have 80 employees. The school offers upper secondary education in the Natural Resources Program with specializations in: equine management, animal care, agriculture, and natural sciences.
Lillerudsgymnasiet has national enrollment and a majority of students live in the school's student residence, creating a wonderful family-like atmosphere.
Lillerudsgymnasiet is beautifully located 15 km west of Karlstad. The school has a large farm with crop cultivation, cattle, pigs, and sheep. There is also a complete equestrian facility with stables, two riding arenas, a riding track, and driving paths. Various companion animals are kept in the animal house. The school also has its own veterinary clinic and dog daycare.
