You will - Have medical management responsibility (MLA) - Work health-promotingly and preventatively - Follow both the School Act and the Health and Medical Care Act, and work according to an established base program - Assess the need for health and medical care services that should be referred to other care providers or require the school doctor - Collaborate with other school staff and other stakeholders such as social services and the region. Student health work needs constant development, and there are also new legislative proposals concerning student health and student health professions that may affect the assignment. A large part of the base program consists of health conversations to increase students' knowledge and awareness of risk and health factors and how they affect health. Medical interventions within student health should contribute to creating environments that promote students' learning, development, and health, as well as support students' development toward educational goals. You must - Be a licensed nurse with specialist training as a school nurse, district nurse, or child and youth nurse - Have at least three years of experience as a nurse - Have good oral and written Swedish language skills - Have good computer and system knowledge - Hold a Class B driver's license. Before employment, certificates of education, license, and a valid extract from the National Police Board's criminal record register must be provided. It is meritorious if you also have - Previous experience as a school nurse - Previous experience with children and youth - Worked in PMO (student health teams).
