School Nurse Needed for K-9 School

About the Position Algebraskolan is an independent K-9 school with a specialized focus on mathematics and Arabic. Our student-centered approach, where we place great emphasis on each student's individual development, allows us to create a safe and inclusive school environment. We believe every student has unique abilities and we work hard to help them reach their full potential. We are now seeking a licensed school nurse at 50-100% who wants to be part of our dedicated student health team, starting fall 2026. You will work closely with the principal, special education teacher, and other student health personnel to ensure that every student is doing well and has good conditions for success in their education. Your Responsibilities: Manage students' health care, including health visits, vaccinations, and health consultations according to the school's student health plan. Work on health promotion and prevention, both individually and in groups. Identify and follow up with students in need of special support, in collaboration with the special education teacher and other student health services. Provide support to students, guardians, and staff on matters related to physical and mental health. Participate actively in the school's student health team and contribute to long-term and structured health promotion work. Document in accordance with applicable laws and regulations for school health care. Qualifications: Licensed nurse with specialist training as a school nurse/district nurse or equivalent. Experience working with children and young people is an asset. Strong ability to work independently as well as in a team, with a solution-oriented and inclusive approach. You are confident in your professional role, communicative, and have a natural ability to build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
