About the Role Our organization currently has one full-time school nurse who also carries the medical management responsibility for our operations. As our schools grow, we need to expand the availability of school nurse services for our students. We are therefore seeking an additional part-time school nurse, approximately 10-20%, for the school year 2026/2027 with potential for extension in future school years if needed. Responsibilities: You will participate in implementing initiatives based on the base program, with a focus on health visits in our grade 7 classes, participate in carrying out vaccinations with accompanying documentation, and prevention initiatives at the secondary level. You will participate in certain student health meetings and collaborate with, among others, school nurse/MLA, principals, teachers, guardians, and others. As needed, you will assist with acute patient care. You will assist the current school nurse with, among other things, vaccinations. Qualifications: You are a licensed nurse with specialist education in health and medical care for children and adolescents, school health, or district nursing. You have a strong interest in working with health promotion and prevention. You have experience working as a school nurse or similar meriting background. You have strong ability to work independently as well as in a team. You have a genuine interest in children's and adolescents' health and development. You are organized with a strong ability to plan and prioritize but flexible when the situation requires it. Experience with the ProRenata medical records system is considered a merit.
