Responsibilities Do you want to make a real difference in children's and young people's lives every day? As a school nurse with us, you have the opportunity to work with health promotion and prevention in a meaningful role where student well-being and development are always central. The school nurse is part of the school's student health team and you work closely with school management, student health teams, educators, and guardians. The school nurse's duties include standard tasks such as health consultations, health checkups, and vaccinations. Health visits and the open clinic are important parts of ensuring that each student receives the support they need at school. Through our work, we support students' development toward educational goals and help create the conditions for good health, security, and learning. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse and have specialist nurse education in one of the following specializations: • Specialist Nurse Program - District Nurse 75 credits • Specialist Nurse Program - Children and Youth 60 credits • Specialist Nurse Program - School Nurse 60 credits We consider it a merit if you have experience with: • Work as a school nurse • Working with children and young people • Health promotion and prevention work • Documenting in the Prorenata journal system To succeed in the role, you are organized, thorough, and enjoy working across professions. You are confident in your professional role, can work independently, and have good computer skills. You have a strong commitment to health promotion work and actively contribute to creating a positive, inclusive, and safe school environment. Together with colleagues, you actively work to create, develop, and strengthen good relationships at all levels in the organization. As support in your work, you are part of AcadeMedia's network for school nurses that meets regularly at professional meetings. Terms of Employment Permanent position, 50% probationary employment for 6 months, with start date by agreement. Possibility for both vacation and leave of absence.
