As a school nurse with us, you will work as part of the student health team based on the Health and Medical Care Act and the Education Act. You work in close collaboration with teachers and the student health team to contribute to the best conditions for learning among our students. A student's health is of great importance for their academic development, and you are passionate about the wellbeing of each student and child. The role of School Nurse includes: Conducting health examinations, health consultations, vaccinations, basic healthcare interventions, and consultations with students. Contributing medical expertise in the school's health promotion and prevention work at student, group, and organizational levels. Collaborating with other professions internally and with other actors in the municipality or region. You drive student health work together with your colleagues. The work also takes place with other educational staff at the school to contribute to students' achievement of goals. You will be part of the school's Student Health Team. We are a Student Health Team that works with an open and welcoming climate where we value each other's different professions in our work. The school nurse's role is central and greatly contributes to creating a comprehensive picture of the individual student as well as in the promotion and prevention work at the group level.
