School Psychologist with Psychological Leadership Responsibility (PLA)

About the Position As a school psychologist with us, you see each individual as unique and work to give students the best conditions for their education. You bring psychological expertise to support pedagogical work and overall planning of student health initiatives. With your expertise, you contribute to developing approaches to create a safe, inclusive, and adapted school environment. In this role, you conduct school assessments when needed. As PLA, you work to ensure that psychological work is conducted effectively, qualitatively, and with patient safety. You are responsible for quality assuring and developing the psychologists' assignments as well as coordinating and organizing internal work for the psychology team. Your duties include: - Developing and establishing procedures for assessment, evaluation, treatment, and follow-up of psychological interventions - Preparing and coordinating psychologists' professional meetings and peer supervision. - Monitoring research and guidelines in psychology and student health - Collaborating with colleagues, medical leadership, and other professions to ensure a holistic approach. Expectations In your role, you will collaborate with school leadership and student health to develop and implement initiatives that strengthen the school's preventive and health-promotion work. You will support the creation of inclusive learning environments with focus on safety, adaptations, and understanding of individual needs. Coach and guide staff and actively contribute to professional development within student health. Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations with relevant questions, map students' strengths and difficulties, and analyze factors affecting their learning and well-being. You will also follow up and analyze previous assessments to ensure that interventions and adaptations are appropriate. Establish, implement, and follow up risk analyses and action plans. Work in accordance with school legislation, central and local guidelines, and current research and proven experience. Qualifications We are looking for a licensed psychologist with experience working as a school psychologist, preferably in a resource school or adapted school, and with knowledge of neurodevelopmental difficulties, intellectual disabilities, and their impact on learning and development. You have previous experience conducting psychological assessments and follow-up and analysis of previous evaluations. You have a holistic perspective on students' development, where context, relationships, and individual needs are central, as well as good knowledge of low-affect interaction and adaptations for students with special needs. You are expected to have knowledge and experience of special education strategies and approaches to promote learning and participation. Experience working in the Prorenata journal system or similar. We would very much like you to have: - Experience working as PLA - Supervision experience More About the Position Duration: Permanent employment with 6 months probation Scope: 60% (approximately 50% Häggviks Gymnasium and 10% PLA) (We also have a position at Svedenskolan Bergshamra, 40%, which could enable full-time work for those who wish to work 100%) Work Hours: Weekdays Salary: Individual salary Start Date: According to agreement.
