The Position and Your Responsibilities We are seeking a school psychologist for Skyttbrink and S:t Botvid upper secondary schools in Botkyrka Municipality. The position is 50%: 30% at S:t Botvid and 20% at Skyttbrink. The position has a special focus on supporting students with learning difficulties and adapted upper secondary school. As a school psychologist, you will be an important part of the student health team at both schools. You will work closely with principals, special education teachers, student counselors, school nurses, and other staff to contribute to an accessible learning environment. Your main responsibilities include: - Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations. - Providing consultation and guidance to staff. - Contributing psychological expertise to preventive and health-promoting work. - Supporting the development of services for students with special needs. The position encompasses national programs, introductory programs, special education activities, and adapted upper secondary school, which means you will work closely with students facing various types of learning difficulties. What We Offer You S:t Botvid Upper Secondary School offers the following programs: Business, Arts, Science, Sales and Service, Child and Youth Care, Health and Social Care, and Social Studies. Within the arts program, you can choose new circus arts in collaboration with Cirkus Cirkör. The school also has several introductory programs and adapted upper secondary school. Skyttbrink Upper Secondary School offers Construction and Civil Engineering and Vehicle and Transport programs with associated introductory programs. In addition to these programs, we also have IMA and a special instruction group for students who had problematic school absenteeism in primary school and therefore did not qualify for a national upper secondary program. Both schools have special education activities. Both schools have well-functioning program teams consisting of engaged educators who describe their workplace as follows: "Lots of joy and open-mindedness where we are all helpful and share knowledge with each other." The schools have well-developed student health services with good collaboration between the professions. Centrally located in the municipality is an operations manager for health and medical personnel and a centrally employed school psychologist to whom you can turn for professional matters. About You Requirements: We are looking for you who: - Are a licensed psychologist. - Have experience working at an upper secondary school. - Have an interest and preferably experience working in schools or the child and youth sector. - Are confident in your profession and have strong collaborative skills. - Want to contribute your expertise to strengthen students' development and learning. - Have a special interest in working with students with various types of learning difficulties. Meritorious: It is advantageous if you have experience working with students with special educational needs and/or experience working in adapted upper secondary schools.
