No. 90000063151 invites applications for a speech-language pathologist teacher position Work Location: Peldu iela 5, Liepāja Employment Contract: Indefinite term Work Schedule: Standard full-time (40 hours per week) Salary: 1185.00 EUR (gross) Qualifications Required: Higher pedagogical education with a speech-language pathologist teacher qualification, or higher education with a speech-language pathologist or audiologist qualification; Minimum three years of professional experience in speech-language pathology; Understanding of developmental characteristics of different age groups and principles of communication psychology; Proficiency in using methods and techniques for speech, language, communication, and oropharyngeal function assessment and disorder identification; Knowledge of regulatory acts governing the education sector; Excellent command of the state language; Strong analytical skills, ability to independently evaluate situations, make well-reasoned decisions, and act professionally in complex situations; Excellent collaboration and communication skills, ability to work both individually and in teams, and to independently organize and plan work; Good skills with Microsoft 365 applications and office equipment; experience with Lietvaris document management system will be considered an advantage. Job Responsibilities: Provide methodological and consulting support; Conduct individual sessions, using diverse teaching methods in language correction and development work, and create and systematize necessary educational and distribution materials; Perform assessment and diagnosis of students' speech, language, and written language disorders; Recommend language disorder correction, development activities, and preventive measures; Represent the Inclusive Education Support Department in matters within its competence.
