Requirements for candidates:
Higher pedagogical education and speech-language pathologist teacher qualification, or higher education and speech-language pathologist or audiologist qualification; students are welcome to apply;
Latvian language proficiency in accordance with State Language Law requirements (C1 level);
High communication culture, professional ethics, and sense of responsibility;
Ability to plan and organize work, strong communication skills when working with children;
Understanding of educational programs and their implementation;
Excellent skills in information technology (MS Office standard programs).
Key job responsibilities:
Diagnose speech and language disorders in students and conduct corrective developmental activities, prevention, and correction;
Analyze the dynamics of student speech and language development;
Consult with and involve parents in corrective developmental activities;
Collaborate with support personnel, advise pedagogues, provide recommendations for student speech and language development, inform about work progress, expected results, and development dynamics;
Participate in providing support and developing individual plans for students;
Improve the institution's developmental environment, material and methodological resources, as well as personal professional competence and other duties in accordance with the speech-language pathologist teacher job description.
