Speech-Language Pathologist Teacher

Jelgavas novada pašvaldības Ozolnieku pirmsskolas izglītības iestāde "Zīlīte" is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist Teacher Main Responsibilities: Conduct diagnosis of speech, language, and written language disorders in students; provide corrective and developmental activities and prevention; Organize evaluation of students' speech, language, and written language development; Prepare written reports on students' speech, language, and written language development; if a student requires support measures in the learning process, recommend consultation with a pedagogical-medical commission; Consult and involve students' parents in corrective and developmental activities; consult with teachers and provide recommendations for students' speech and language development; Participate in educational institution's pedagogical council meetings, support personnel commission or group meetings, and parent meetings as needed. Requirements for Candidates: • Education in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 569 "Regulations on Education and Professional Qualifications Required for Pedagogues and the Procedure for Professional Competence Development of Pedagogues"; • State language proficiency at the highest level; • Preferred experience working with children in a preschool educational institution; • Ability to plan, organize, and perform work with high quality; • High sense of responsibility, discipline, accuracy, and ability to justify decisions or actions taken; • Ability to analyze and resolve conflict situations, maintain confidentiality and tolerance; • Ability to communicate respectfully with children and adults; • Ability to use modern teaching methods in work.
