Kinda municipality is now seeking a school meal assistant for the kitchen at Horns School. With us, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to students' health, well-being, and learning through nutritious, quality meals in a safe school environment.
About the Role
As a school meal assistant at Horns School, you'll work with school lunches for students in lower and middle school. The role includes responsibility for certain food preparation and serving lunch, as well as preparing salad buffets.
This is a temporary position at 50% from October 5, 2026 to January 17, 2027.
Responsibilities
Preparation and/or serving of nutritious and balanced school meals
Preparation of salad buffets and light food preparation.
Ensure good hygiene, food safety, and order in the kitchen
Provide good and professional service to students and colleagues
Qualifications
Experience working in school or large-scale kitchens is a plus
Good knowledge of food hygiene and self-monitoring
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Service-oriented, flexible, and responsible
