ABOUT THE JOB Subject to necessary decisions being made, Lycksele Municipality is seeking a school counselor for the central child and student health services. Child and student health services is a unified operation and is part of the student health local team. As a counselor within child and student health services, you can work in preschools, primary schools, and upper secondary schools in Lycksele Municipality. A shared mission within student health is to work in a preventive and promotional manner through collaboration and efficient use of resources, with early interventions. You will work in close collaboration with the educational activities at our schools. In this role, there will be a special focus on preventive and promotional initiatives at the organizational and group level. You will have strong support from your work group together with other counselors. You will regularly participate in collaboration with Social Services regarding the promotional mission. YOUR PROFILE We believe in the right competence in the right place. We are looking for someone with a degree in social work. If you have experience working with children and young people, preferably within preschool/school, we consider this a merit. A B-class driver's license and access to your own car are required for this position. You have a strong ability to create, develop, and maintain relationships, and you have the willingness and ability to collaborate in a team.
