Olympica is now seeking a dedicated counselor who wants to work in our central student wellness team with a clear focus on promoting and preventing student health issues. Olympica operates schools with a holistic approach to learning where knowledge, safety, and health are interconnected. The position is distributed among Olympica's primary schools in Hedemora (Grades F–6), Ludvika/Håksberg (Grades F–6), and Leksand/formerly Excel (Grades F–9). You will become an important part of a coordinated student wellness effort where collaboration, quality, and the student's best interests are always in focus. About the Role As a counselor with us, you will primarily work on promotion and prevention to strengthen students' mental health and create safe, inclusive learning environments. You will contribute to developing structures and approaches that benefit all students. You will be part of a central student wellness team together with other professionals where you collectively drive and develop preventive student health work. The work also includes interventional measures when needed. You will work closely with school leadership, educators, and guardians, mentor staff, and participate in student wellness meetings. The work takes place at organizational, group, and individual levels.
