School Counselor

Workplace and Responsibilities The Learning Administration is now seeking a school counselor for Friggesunds School. The school is located in the Dellenbygden area surrounded by nature. The school has approximately 35 students from preschool through grade 6, and the staff's work is based on collaboration and a holistic approach. The school counselor's work is primarily conducted at the principal's request and includes tasks such as education, guidance, consultation, social assessments, and support for students, parents, and school staff. The work is primarily preventive and health-promoting and is conducted at individual, group, and organizational levels. Hudiksvall Municipality's school counselor team has access to supervision and professional development opportunities. This is a temporary position with the possibility of extension. Your Profile Sociology degree or equivalent higher education qualification. Driver's license is required. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and the ability to collaborate and work in a team. Meritorious: - Experience in consultation and guidance as well as leading and planning preventive and health-promoting work for children/young people. - Experience in guidance, preventive and health-promoting work is meritorious. Here we follow our youngest community members from preschool until they graduate from upper secondary school.
