Kekavas Municipal Social Service is seeking a companion for municipal-provided transportation vehicles to accompany children to educational institutions. The companion accompanies children from Kekavas Municipality in a transportation vehicle to get to and from educational institutions in Riga and Pierīga that provide special education programs. The companion ensures safety measures during the journey (child seats, seat belts, etc. in accordance with Road Traffic Regulations), ensures communication with children's parents and educational institutions, accompanies children to the educational institution's classroom, and informs the bus driver of any route changes that arise during work. The companion is hired under an employment contract for the school year. Compensation – 6.49 euros per hour before taxes. The companion service's expected hours per week are up to 30 hours.
