Candidates must be motivated to implement modern, competency-based educational content using progressive and creative methods of work and learning process management, ensuring comprehensive development of students and cultivating practical application skills of acquired knowledge in accordance with the ever-growing future needs of society. We invite you to participate in an open competition for the position of Principal of Jurmalas Majoru Secondary School (this position carries official status) REQUIREMENTS FOR CANDIDATES: Education in accordance with requirements specified in the Education Law and Cabinet of Ministers regulations on education, professional qualifications, and professional development procedures required for pedagogues; at least three years of pedagogical work experience in education or education management; State language proficiency at the highest level and proficiency in at least one official EU language at the level necessary for professional activities; Knowledge and understanding of the specifics of educational institution management, including knowledge of normative acts regulating the education field, normative acts regulating child protection, educational institution financing issues, organization of learning processes and educational work, and issues of educational content and quality; Knowledge and understanding of ensuring the institution's financial and economic activities; Experience in team management and employee motivation, understanding of labor law issues; excellent communication and cooperation skills; positive attitude toward innovation, purposefulness, precision, discipline, high sense of responsibility, ability to set priorities, and organize and plan work. MAIN DUTIES OF THE POSITION: plan, manage, and organize the work of Jurmalas Majoru Secondary School, ensuring purposeful institutional development and achievement of strategic goals; create an innovation-focused school environment; organize quality implementation of educational programs and educational processes; ensure and evaluate the quality of the educational process and promote its continuous improvement; create a cohesive, professional team and promote teacher recruitment and development; ensure the institution's economic activities, using school budget funds rationally and efficiently; ensure cooperation with students' parents, Jurmalas Education Administration, and other partners.
