ALKSNES NOVADA PAŠVALDĪBA Registration number 90000018622 announces a competition for the position of Alūksnes Music School Director The purpose of the Alūksnes Music School Director position is to ensure the strategic development of Alūksnes Music School, quality educational processes, and effective institutional operations by leading and developing teachers' professional competence, financial and material resources. Main job responsibilities manage the educational institution's operations and ensure the legality, quality, and development of its activities, taking responsibility for achieved results; ensure efficient and rational management of the educational institution's intellectual, financial, and material resources; organize and coordinate the educational institution's strategic development, implement the objectives and tasks set by the founder; create and develop the educational institution's quality culture, organize self-evaluation processes, and assess data on educational processes, achieved results, educational environment, and management; create a creative, motivating, and professional work environment. Requirements for candidates Mandatory requirements: higher education in accordance with Point 13 of the Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 569 of September 11, 2018 "Regulations on Education and Professional Qualifications Required for Teachers and the Procedure for Improving Teachers' Professional Competence"; State language proficiency in accordance with the highest level established in the State Language Law and proficiency in at least one official language of the European Union to the extent necessary for performing professional duties; at least three years of professional work experience in pedagogical work or educational institution management. Experience in managing cultural education professional specialization institutions will be considered an advantage; no restrictions established in the Education Law and Child Rights Protection Law apply to working as an educational institution director. Additional requirements (competencies): understanding of municipal functions and operating principles; knowledge in applying regulatory acts regulating education, cultural education, and professional specialization fields and labor law; knowledge in cultural education and professional specialization education, educational work management, including knowledge of the State Education Standard and methodological issues of professional education content programs; understanding of educational institution financing procedures and institutional budget planning; experience in developing and/or implementing European Union structural funds and other projects; good digital skills in working with information and communication technologies; ability to independently make substantiated decisions, plan, organize, and manage institutional operations; strategic planning and change management skills; good cooperation, communication, and team management skills. We offer: monthly salary before tax payment – starting from 1724 EUR, responsible work with the opportunity to develop your professional experience.
