School Administrator Sigtuna folkhögskola, 80% About Sigtuna folkhögskola Sigtuna folkhögskola is a place for learning, development, and encounters between people. Each year, approximately 230 students attend our long-term courses, all with different backgrounds, experiences, and motivations. Among the participants are those who wish to complete primary or equivalent upper secondary education, others who train to become leisure leaders or social pedagogues, or pursue solid foundational education in the cultural field through studies in art, film, acting, or photography. The interaction between people and educational programs with different orientations is an important part of the environment that characterizes Sigtuna folkhögskola. The folk high school also arranges distance education, summer courses, and short courses in collaboration with related organizations. We operate a course facility and a hostel in collaboration with Svenska Turistföreningen. Approximately 50 participants live in the folk high school's dormitory. Sigtuna folkhögskola has approximately 30 employees. The governing body is the Association Sigtuna folkhögskola, which includes Sensus studieförbund, Sigtunastiftelsen, and Svenska Kyrkans Unga. Learn more about us at sigtunafolkhogskola.se Your Assignment As a school administrator, you have a central role in the school's daily operations. You work with administration of our courses and participants while managing a large portion of the school's ongoing communication with current and prospective participants, staff, and visitors. You work closely with the rector and assistant rector on matters such as course and participant administration, reporting to CSN, SCB, and Folkbildningsrådet, as well as preparing invoice documentation. You also collaborate with the school's educational staff on matters such as admissions, mailings, ordering, and handling of certificates. An important part of the position is staffing the school's reception desk. This means you meet many of the people who spend time at or come into contact with the school each day. You become an important gateway to the organization and contribute to ensuring that participants and visitors receive professional, welcoming, and helpful service. The role also includes hosting duties and practical tasks related to internal and external events. Work tasks therefore vary between planned administration, ongoing service, and matters that need to be resolved immediately. Your Qualifications For this position, we are looking for someone who has: · at least upper secondary education or equivalent · documented experience working with course administration · experience with basic financial administration · very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing · good digital skills and strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Teams. It is an advantage if you have: · education in course administration · experience with SchoolSoft or similar administrative systems · knowledge of folk education activities. Who Are You?
