Vikbolands Taxi is looking for a reliable and considerate school bus driver for our regular school transportation routes in Valdemarsvik and surrounding areas. With us, you drive the same students day after day. You get to know the children and their daily lives, and they get to know you. This is a job for someone who wants a good relationship with their workplace, enjoys a calm and predictable rhythm, and feels satisfied with their situation. You will drive a mid-size bus – a Mercedes Sprinter with 22 seats – so you should be experienced and comfortable driving larger vehicles. Working Hours Work is scheduled on school days, 178 days per year, divided into a morning and an afternoon shift: Morning: starts 06:30–08:30 Afternoon: starts 12:00/13:00 – ends 15:00–17:00, depending on the day of the week In total, this corresponds to approximately 7 paid hours per school day. No evening or weekend routes – you have free time between shifts and during school breaks. We're Looking for Someone Who - has a valid professional driver certificate (YKB) and category D driver's license - is confident and experienced driving larger vehicles - is punctual, responsible, and enjoys consistent, predictable driving - is considerate and enjoys building good relationships with students - wants a stable and pleasant work situation A criminal record extract will be requested prior to employment, which is a requirement for school transportation operations. Salary Salary according to collective agreement (Bus Industry Agreement). With a scope of approximately 87.5% during school terms (7 paid hours per school day), this means a monthly salary of approximately 26,000 kr during school terms at entry level, and more with professional experience.
