About the Position
As a facilities caretaker at Skokloster Castle, you will be responsible for providing castle visitors with a high-quality and positive experience. Your main duties will be to:
Plan and perform daily cleaning of public areas - entrance, shop, exhibition spaces, and offices
Order and restock consumable materials
Manage waste and recycling
Water plants
Prepare facilities for various events
Participate in meetings

About You - We Are Looking for Someone Who Has:
Experience with facilities maintenance in historically sensitive environments
A strong service and safety mindset
Ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
It is a merit if you have:
Formal training in facilities management

Employment Terms - Good to Know
This is a permanent position with a 6-month probationary period. Start date October 1, 2026; selection and interviews are ongoing. The position is 60% full-time, Monday through Friday. Some opportunity for overtime available. Please note that Skokloster Castle has no elevator and cleaning takes place on all floors. Large portions of the public areas in the historic environment are unheated with limited lighting. Your regular workplace will be Skokloster Castle, Skokloster.
Individual salary by agreement.
