Forest Workers (2 positions) Wanted for Work in Götaland

About Us Nature & Forest Service is a consulting firm specializing in forestry consulting services related to infrastructure and nature conservation work. We currently have offices in Skellefteå, Umeå/Holmsund, Örnsköldsvik, Östersund, Mjällom (located on the High Coast), Delsbo, Sveg, Uppsala, and Kalmar. The Position We are now seeking two forest workers for work in transmission corridors. We primarily perform work in the eastern parts of Götaland, with home-based positioning within this geography being possible. Most of the work is field-based and will involve considerable travel. The majority of work will be in Götaland, but travel to other parts of Sweden may occur. The work will mainly be done in teams of two to three people. The work will primarily consist of manual felling of edge trees and vegetation clearing in transmission corridors. The work requires high standards of safety and quality and is performed according to EBR's Electrical Safety Instructions (ESA). Other tasks will include inspection of completed work and vegetation surveys in transmission corridors. We apply probationary employment in accordance with the collective agreement for this position. Requirements for applicants: · Chainsaw Certificate AB according to Säker Skog. · Class B Driver's License Meritorious: · Chainsaw Certificate Level C and D according to Säker Skog · Experience working with brush saws · ATV Operator Certificate · Experience operating ATVs in terrain · BE Driver's License About You We see that you enjoy working in nature and appreciate getting to see new places in your work.
