About Us Stora Enso is preparing to separate its Swedish forest assets into a new publicly listed company, Bergslagets Skogar. The company will be listed on Nasdaq Stockholm and Nasdaq Helsinki. The listing is expected to be completed in the first half of 2027. After the separation, Bergslagets Skogar will own approximately 1.2 million hectares of forest in Sweden, making it Europe's largest pure-play forest company. Bergslagets Skogar is in an exciting phase where new working methods, structures, and teams are taking shape. We are now looking for a Forestry Operations Planner who wants to combine independent field work with forest management responsibility and an opportunity to contribute to the development of a new organization. Do you want to be part of the journey and contribute to the growth of Europe's largest pure-play forest company? Your Responsibilities As a Forestry Operations Planner, you will be responsible for planning forest management activities both digitally and in the field. You will independently manage work from pre-planning to a completed tract package that is handed over to the client. This involves assessing appropriate measures, digitizing your field assessments, and compiling complete documentation for the ongoing process. Through your work, you contribute to long-term and sustainable forest management where production, environmental values, and the needs of future generations are balanced responsibly. The role is largely field-based, with approximately 80 percent of working time in the forest and the remaining time in the office. You plan and prioritize your workdays based on assignments and delivery requirements and often work independently in varying weather and seasonal conditions. You will be the main contact for the documentation you deliver and handle any clarifications or questions that arise along the way. At the same time, you will be an important part of the team, contributing to joint deliveries, knowledge sharing, and the development of working methods within the operation. Your primary base will be Filipstad, alternatively Fredriksberg. Your geographic work area covers eastern Värmland and eastern Bergslagen. From the office, travel time within your work area is normally at most around one hour. Your Profile We are looking for someone who thrives with freedom and responsibility and wants the forest as your primary workplace. You are used to planning your time, working methodically, and driving tasks from start to finish without close supervision. At the same time, you appreciate being part of a helpful team where knowledge is shared and people support each other. To succeed in this role, you need to have a Class B driver's license, good computer skills, and the ability to learn digital planning and GIS-related systems. You also need to be willing and able to work independently in the field for most of your working week, year-round and even when weather and terrain are more challenging. Forest education or practical experience in forestry is a merit. Most importantly, you need a practical understanding of forestry measures and the ability to assess what needs to be done in different forest stands. As a person, you are responsible, organized, and persevering. You make well-considered decisions without getting stuck in details and ensure that work progresses. You are also willing to collaborate and enjoy contributing to team camaraderie, even though much of your daily work is independent. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
