Forest Worker and Machine Operator!

I am looking for team members for my company, a small forestry business that primarily works with tree safety along railway lines, as well as on properties and in urban environments with tree felling, stump grinding, hedge trimming, pruning, and more. We also work for the power industry in utility corridors. I am looking for someone who is independent and enjoys taking responsibility. With personal drive toward results and service, you would fit well in our team. You enjoy moving through forests and terrain regardless of weather and season, and you see it as positive to burn many calories per day. You should be able to use primarily a chainsaw, but also a brush saw. Since some of our assignments are near populated areas, the work often involves complicated felling of hazard trees with high safety requirements. If you have a feel for machinery, you will benefit greatly. We primarily work with motormanual methods but plan to expand operations with a completely new machine fleet: a harvester and a forwarder. The idea behind this is twofold—to be able to offer customers another way to manage their properties while providing our company with additional variety in our daily work. Today we have a mini forwarder and a tractor with crane and trailer. Base location is Strömsund, but you can live anywhere—for example, Strömsund, Stugun, Hammarstrand, Östersund, Järpen, or Åre—but expect travel regardless of where you live. We work in almost all of Jämtland, as well as parts of Västerbotten and Västernorrland. Full-time with immediate start and indefinite duration; probationary employment applies with fixed hourly wage.
