About the role of forest project manager As a forest project manager at Ellevio, you are responsible for planning, managing and following up forest maintenance along our regional network lines. The role is central to ensuring delivery reliability and compliance with requirements through efficient and long-term maintenance. The role is primarily office-based and is mainly about planning, management, follow-up and coordination. Field visits may occur, but daily work takes place primarily through analysis, dialogue with contractors and internal functions, and follow-up of ongoing and planned measures. You have overall responsibility for budget, procurement and follow-up of forest maintenance measures. The role includes ongoing project follow-up regarding execution and progress, in close cooperation with contractors and project managers with closer connection to operational fieldwork. Furthermore, you contribute to the development of methodology and working methods in the field and participate in industry-wide forums together with other regional grid operators. Examples of work tasks: Responsible for budget, procurement and follow-up of forest maintenance Follow up projects regarding quality, progress and delivery Cooperate with project managers, contractors and internal functions Prepare projects for edge tree maintenance based on laser scanning material Contribute to the development of working methods and procedures The role offers great freedom in how you plan and drive your work, and you are expected to take independent responsibility for your areas and drive the work forward as conditions and needs change. Based in Karlstad, Mora, Falun, Bollnäs or Arvika, but for the right person it is also possible to work from Örebro. You work in a structured manner and have a business-like approach, with the ability to plan, prioritize and follow up deliveries. You are problem-solving and enjoy handling changed circumstances. The role requires you to be able to work independently, while having good collaboration skills and functioning well in dialogue with both contractors and internal stakeholders. As we move towards a more digitalized way of working, we would like to see that you have an interest in creating structure and order in digital systems. We are looking for someone who has: Forest higher education or equivalent knowledge acquired through working life Several years of experience in forest maintenance, preferably related to power line corridors Experience of working with contractors and contract monitoring Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing Category B driving license Knowledge of property law and GIS is meritorious.
