More information about the company can be found at javascript:void(0) About the Position The role of shift operations manager is challenging and exciting. In close collaboration with the site manager and other colleagues, you will lead, develop, and follow up on operations for truck transport. You report to the site manager and are part of site management. Responsibilities Personnel responsibility for shift drivers Responsible for leading and directing daily operations at the terminal in Junosuando Lead improvement efforts for drivers Collaborate with our suppliers for the best possible logistics chain Coordinate with other staff to ensure coordination and communication to optimize our performance Together with drivers and traffic and work leaders, ensure that assignments are carried out in a safe and efficient manner Work with systematic occupational health and safety through delegated responsibility for workplace and external environment About You The person we are looking for has relevant experience and expertise in logistics, transport, road, or construction. As a person, you recognize our three core values of Respect, Commitment, and Curiosity, which we strive to have permeate how we plan, lead, and develop our operations. It is a merit if you have experience leading operations, personnel, or projects, preferably from transport or industry. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English as well as good IT skills. If you also have knowledge of Finnish or Meänkieli, this is a merit. To succeed in this role, you must be self-driven, good at planning, structuring, and prioritizing your time. You are interested in leadership and have the ability to build trust with those around you, establishing and developing relationships through cooperation, respect, and integrity.
