Södra Lapplands Gymnasieförbund is a school association that includes upper secondary schools in Vilhelmina, Storuman, and Tärnaby. The schools have high goal achievement rates and a high proportion of qualified teachers. Teaching groups are small. We strive for SLG to be the natural choice for young people in southern Lapland, and we offer nine national programs, introductory programs, and apprenticeship training. SLG also offers NIU-programs in ski jumping and alpine skiing. Our municipalities are beautifully situated in southern Lapland and consist of forests, lakes, and mountains. Description NIU-Instructor Tärnaby Alpina gymnasium is one of Sweden's premier training grounds for alpine skiing. With our location in the heart of Tärnaby, we have a unique facility with close proximity to the slopes and school within walking distance. Tärnaby Alpina gymnasium is now seeking, subject to required approvals, coaches for our alpine NIU-program. The Role of NIU-Instructor We are looking for someone who wants to combine your alpine expertise with professional teaching skills. As an instructor with us, you are responsible for planning, conducting, and evaluating training according to the national goals for NIU. You will be part of a team where we maintain high standards for safety, structure, and modern leadership that puts student development at the center. Training camps and competition trips are also part of the role. We are looking for someone who: * Is a certified teacher (subject expertise in Specialized Sports is desirable). * Has solid experience in competitive alpine skiing at a high level. * Holds coaching certification and has experience training and coaching young alpine skiers. * Is a confident leader who serves as a good role model for our young people, with a strong understanding of the school's responsibilities and regulations. * Possesses good administrative skills and views documentation and follow-up as a natural part of the work.
