Will you spend the winter with us? About the Position As we approach another season at Kläppen Ski Resort, we are looking for ski instructors, both new and experienced, with high ambitions. Our team consists of approximately 35 people with many different personalities, but what we all share is that we truly have a passion for skiing, people, and personal development. By development, we mean that we work and train hard to create good conditions for becoming better ski instructors, skiers, and people. Kläppen's ski school's goal is to create a reputation for being the best ski school in the mountain world, and for the ski school to be synonymous with high expertise and service! To succeed with this, it is important that we are always professional and the products we offer are always of the highest quality. But the single most important factor for achieving our goal is our staff; without them, we will never succeed. Therefore, we invest a lot of time in our staff, and we offer, among other things, a developmental internal training program with full support and focus on each person's development. We see this as very important, and therefore we want you to have the same commitment to developing in your role as a ski instructor. The ski school falls under the Sports department, which also includes activities, children's programs, Kläppen hosts, and events. Together, we are approximately 100 people. Responsibilities As a ski instructor, you will work on developing our guests' skiing skills and enhancing their experience at Kläppen. Depending on your previous experience and training, you will work with children, youth, and adults, or children and youth. You will work with both group and private lessons. Kläppen ski school staff also work on activities and events at Kläppen. The position is a seasonal employment starting in December through March/April. Salary is paid according to agreement. Qualifications To succeed as a ski instructor, you must be social and outgoing and passionate about creating and building relationships with people. We also see it as self-evident that you have a very strong passion for downhill skiing and that you enjoy various types of training. Working as a ski instructor is something we believe people do for several seasons; it is a profession to develop in, and it takes a few years before you become truly skilled. Therefore, we see that you, as an applicant, have the ambition to develop as a ski instructor, skier, and to work in a ski school for several seasons. It is a merit if you have worked as a ski instructor previously.
