Stage Technician

VSIA "Latvian National Opera and Ballet" is hiring STAGE TECHNICIAN(S) We offer: - Interesting and diverse work in the largest organization in the cultural sector; - Motivating work conditions (health insurance after probation period with co-funding, vacation between theater seasons); - Base salary from 7.00 EUR/h gross; - Summed working hours in accordance with the Republic of Latvia Labor Law. Work in shifts during both day and night hours, as well as on Saturdays and Sundays. Main Responsibilities: - Perform assembly, modification, and disassembly of sets during rehearsals and performances (heavy physical work and work at heights); - Job duties include moving, transporting, loading, and positioning of sets and equipment; - Independently learn the basic structures of repertoire productions and rehearsals (following the rehearsal setup process); - Prepare sets for transportation at the opera, on tour, and for guest performances; - Perform other similar work tasks. Requirements: - Basic education; - Experience in similar work is desirable; - Knowledge of the state language. Documents to submit: CV, brief motivation letter, and copy of education document.
