Description Skårsskolan is seeking a student assistant for a boy in 1st grade. The position is a limited-term contract from November 30, 2026 through November 30, 2027. Skårsskolan is a preschool through 6th grade school with approximately 440 students and 60 staff members. Skårsskolan is centrally located with great access to nature and excellent bus connections. We work to promote, maintain, and develop all students' natural desire to learn for life. Our approach is characterized by clarity and structure, as we know this produces good results both academically and socially. All students should recognize themselves in Skårsskolan's lesson structure. We actively engage in operations development through systematic quality work and competency development in various areas. Responsibilities We are looking for a student assistant who wants to work specifically with a 1st grade student. The position involves supporting the student throughout the school day and during after-school care. The educational work with our student is guided by the 1st grade curriculum, but also by the student's needs, abilities, and interests. During the school day, you work together with the classroom teacher. Together you design and adapt instruction to meet the student's specific needs based on the teacher's planning. Work with the student is characterized by a low-affect approach and clear pedagogy. The student needs support in social interaction and learning processes. The student may need individual instruction with close support from the student assistant/teacher during the school day, as well as substantial support during after-school care time. Your role involves providing the student with both educational and practical support throughout the entire school day. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a student assistant certification, or equivalent relevant education. You have good computer skills and are confident using digital tools in educational work. You are able to express yourself clearly in writing and speech in Swedish. As a person, you are: Trusting, calm, and stable. Curious about finding solutions to compensate for students' difficulties in the learning environment. Inclusive and professional in your approach. Good at meeting all students and particularly skilled at seeing each individual based on their abilities. Good at collaborating internally and externally.
