Skåne Stadsmission Seeks Part-Time Physician for Helsingborg

Skåne Stadsmission currently has over 125 permanent employees and approximately 130 private volunteers and 150 corporate volunteers, with an annual turnover of approximately 120 million kronor. We are one of ten members of the Swedish City Missions Association (Riksföreningen Sveriges Stadsmissioner), sharing the same values and brand platform. Skåne Stadsmission's operations are financed through IOP (Mission-Driven Public Partnership), agreements, grants, project funding, sales of goods and services, and funds collected from companies and individuals. Skåne Stadsmission operates Stadsmissionshälsan, which provides health and medical care. Stadsmissionshälsan was established in 2001 through collaboration with Region Skåne and currently operates four health and medical care clinics, located in Malmö, Kristianstad, Helsingborg, and one mobile clinic. The work at each clinic varies based on local conditions. All health and medical care is free of charge, and the clinics operate on a drop-in basis. Stadsmissionshälsan is a complement to and a bridge with public healthcare for patients who cannot access it. Stadsmissionshälsan provides health and medical care through continuous relationship-building clinical assessment. Where our resources are insufficient, we collaborate with other healthcare providers or assist patients in accessing the appropriate level of care. Our operations are multifaceted, as we work with many different target groups. This requires the ability and interest to work with people from different backgrounds and life situations. We are now seeking a physician who would like to work with us approximately 2 hours per week in Helsingborg. Your responsibilities will include: Providing health and medical care within the framework of Stadsmissionshälsan's IOP. Refer to, contact, and collaborate with other healthcare providers. Work together with other actors in the geographic area around individual patients to expand each person's opportunities to receive the best possible care. Diagnose and treat based on the local conditions offered at the clinic. It is desirable that you can be available by phone/email for the nurse during clinic hours (daytime). You are a licensed specialist physician (or only a few years away from your specialist certification) within an appropriate specialty. You can communicate in Swedish in both speech and writing. Since communication is important in this role, we are seeking someone who can communicate easily with people even without a shared language. The work takes place in close collaboration with nurses, so you need to work well in teams and be collaborative. As a person, you are positive, creative, flexible, and can turn challenges into opportunities. You can work independently and feel secure in your professional role. Furthermore, you sometimes need to be pragmatic in your approach and treatment of patients, as our patient group may have special needs. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
