At Länsförsäkringar Värmland you will have a key role in supporting business owners when operations are affected by, for example, fire, burglary, water damage or machinery breakdowns. About the role As a Claims Adjuster for Companies, you are responsible for investigating, assessing and settling claims for our business customers. You become an important advisor throughout the claims process and work closely with the customer to find solutions that help the business get back on track as quickly as possible. The work is based from the office but also includes customer visits on-site when the situation requires it. You have several cases in progress simultaneously and work closely with colleagues in claims adjustment, claims law and other specialist areas. The role involves great variety where one day you handle a claim at a local manufacturing company and the next day you help a contractor, electrician or consulting firm move forward after an unforeseen event. You will also work with certain agriculture-related cases and contribute to developing our expertise in the field. You will be part of a work team consisting of a total of 10 employees who settle claims within private, business and agricultural insurance. Work duties: Investigate, assess and settle business claims including property, inventory, machinery and business interruption Have ongoing dialogue with customers, suppliers, contractors and other partners Conduct customer visits and inspections as needed Make independent decisions based on insurance terms, legislation and business assessments Work closely with claims lawyers and other specialist functions Contribute to high customer satisfaction, efficient handling times and sound claims economics Identify customer needs and help ensure the customer has the right insurance solutions over time Who are you? We believe you have experience from a role where you have worked with investigation, assessment, customer dialogue and independent responsibility. Perhaps you already work with business claims adjustment today, or you come from a related business where you have built up a strong understanding of business, technology, property, construction or risk management. You have the ability to put yourself in the customer's position and can combine professional conduct with the ability to make clear decisions. You enjoy taking responsibility, creating structure and driving your cases forward while you enjoy collaborating with others to find the best solutions. We would like to see that you have experience from one of the following areas: Business claims adjustment or insurance Inspection, damage investigation or risk prevention work Construction, contracting or property-related business Business consulting within banking or insurance Agriculture, green industries or businesses with strong ties to business Experience with agriculture and agricultural insurance is a merit. As a person you are business-minded, solution-oriented and trustworthy. You find it easy to build relationships with different types of people and feel equally comfortable at your desk as at the customer's location. You are curious about new technology and see digital tools and AI as natural aids in your work.
