Work Tasks About the Role As a Loss Prevention Officer at Göta Lejon, you play an important role in developing and strengthening loss prevention work for our customers. Together with colleagues with broad expertise in risk and insurance, you work to create long-term sustainable and secure operations. With a holistic perspective on risks and loss prevention measures, you identify, analyze and assess risks that may impact Gothenburg City. The role involves both strategic and operational work where through site visits, analyses and advisory services you contribute to strengthening customers' ability to prevent and manage risks. You work closely with both customers and colleagues and serve as important support in matters concerning risk management and loss prevention work. Together with a senior risk colleague, you help coordinate and further develop the company's loss prevention work. Examples of your tasks: Plan and conduct site visits based on identified risks and analyzed needs Provide advice and support to customers in their loss prevention work Prepare analyses, statistics, fact sheets, project reports and other decision-making materials Responsible for and administer certain systems and databases connected to loss prevention work Participate in and support loss settlement work as needed Contribute to the development of methods and working practices within risk and loss prevention work Collaborate closely with colleagues and support other parts of the business as needed Qualifications Who are you? We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in risk management and loss prevention work. You are confident in your expertise, curious about developing yourself and have a proactive approach to your work. As a person you are analytical, structured and initiative-taking. You have an ability to see the bigger picture while being able to dive into details when the situation requires it. You are communicative and have the ability to explain complex issues in a clear and educational way. Since the role involves many points of contact, we also value your collaborative abilities. We are looking for someone who has: Fire Safety Engineering degree or other relevant higher education or university qualification. At least a couple of years of experience in risk management, loss prevention work or related field. Good ability to structure, plan and organize your work. Very good communication skills in speech and writing. Experience in independently managing work tasks and projects. It is advantageous if you have: Knowledge of protective devices and physical security. Experience from the insurance industry. Experience working with Boverket's Building Regulations.
