Make a difference. Every day. Child and adolescent psychiatric inpatient care in Malmö is a regional service serving children and young people up to 18 years old. The inpatient facility includes an acute ward for stabilizing interventions and an acute reception unit that handles patient triage. There are also two care wards in the inpatient facility that provide care to patients who need a longer inpatient stay to improve their functional level before continuing treatment in outpatient care. Inpatient care is provided to patients who require this level of support. On the wards, we work in a multidisciplinary manner, with the patient's and family's needs in focus. Ward 2 has eight beds for eating disorder treatment. In addition to this, there are two beds for patients with user-directed admission (BI). The ward's mission is to help patients gain weight by supporting guardians in taking control of the patient's meals and normalizing eating. Care is provided in close collaboration with guardians/family members and in early coordination with neighboring care services and the municipality. Here you will use all your expertise in meeting each young person and quickly build an alliance to meet the child where they are. Much of it is about listening and being present. Care on the wards is supported by SVP Inpatient Care. We recently moved to new facilities in Hyllie. 3 position(s). As a temporary nurse, you make a big difference and are highly valued. As a temporary nurse, you function as a replacement for our permanent staff during their absence. The facility is staffed around the clock, and we may need temporary staff for day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. On Ward 2, the nurse has a clear leadership role. The ward primarily cares for patients with anorexia, and the goal of treatment is to stop acute starvation and work to enable the patient to return to outpatient care as quickly as possible for continued treatment. As a nurse on Ward 2, you participate in rounds and collaborate with your team in daily work. We strive to work based on evidence and use care programs as support. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with authorization to work within Swedish healthcare. Swedish language proficiency corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. If you have specialist training in psychiatry, we consider this an asset for the position, as well as if you have CBT Level 1. We would like to see that you have experience with the Melior documentation system. We welcome you as someone who is empathetic with a professional approach, has good teamwork skills, and can see the whole picture around an individual. You are development-oriented, engaged, and good at building positive relationships. You should have experience and interest in working both independently and across teams.
