We are looking for you, a nurse—preferably with specialist competency in psychiatry—who together with us wants to create the best conditions for our patients' recovery and well-being at the Adult Psychiatry Department 56 in Helsingborg. The adult psychiatry operations area in Helsingborg has clinics and teams located in Helsingborg, Landskrona, and Ängelholm. All 24-hour care is provided in Helsingborg. We provide specialized psychiatric care and treatment for patients with severe mental health problems. The catchment area consists of ten municipalities in northwestern Skåne, with which we maintain good collaboration through coordination meetings and care planning. Department 56 is a general psychiatric acute care unit providing 24-hour care and a training and development department, serving patients over 18 years old. We care for patients with conditions and illnesses across the entire psychiatric diagnostic spectrum. We also have a special mandate for specialized eating disorder care. 2 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Would you like to become our new colleague? We are now welcoming two nurses or psychiatric nurses to our department! With us, you work in a care team together with nursing assistants and care workers, where you serve as the responsible nurse for patient care. In close collaboration with patients, relatives, and colleagues, you are responsible for care planning and contribute to person-centered and safe care based on each patient's individual needs. We work according to Safewards, a model that promotes a safe care environment for both patients and staff. Your tasks include documentation, ward rounds, medication management, nursing interventions, and student supervision using the peer-learning model. Together with your colleagues, you strive for high patient safety and quality care. As part of Helsingborg University Hospital, there are also excellent opportunities to engage in research. The operations have their own research network that meets regularly and supports staff with research interests. We invest in continuous professional development through both internal and external training initiatives. QUALIFICATIONS You are a licensed nurse with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare. You also have Swedish language skills equivalent to at least C1 level according to the Council of Europe's scale. It is highly meritorious if you have specialist education in psychiatry. Previous experience working in adult psychiatry and psychiatric care is also meritorious. As a person, you are empathetic, attentive, and responsible with excellent interpersonal skills toward both patients and colleagues. You have a high level of initiative and a structured work approach with the ability to make independent decisions when needed. At the same time, you are a team player who enjoys working in a team and is happy to share your knowledge and experience.
