We are looking for you with an interest in infectious diseases and acute care, and who want to be part of highly specialized advanced healthcare. The Infectious Disease Unit has an outpatient clinic, ward, needle exchange, and direct admission from the emergency department. You will meet patients with serious infectious diseases such as Endocarditis, Sepsis, Meningitis, Pneumonia, and Tuberculosis. This also means you will encounter patients in various challenging situations. We work in teams, which means you will collaborate with several other professional categories. You will be an important part of the team where we help each other. The Infectious Disease Clinic is in a major development and expansion phase, and we therefore need you with drive and commitment, and preferably experience! You should have a good ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with others. We have short decision-making paths and there are opportunities to influence and develop in your work. Job Responsibilities The position involves ward work in the infectious disease unit. We provide highly specialized care that requires specialized knowledge but also basic infectious disease care. We offer competency development including opportunities for deepened interest in specific infectious diseases. We offer an individually tailored introduction and onboarding in consultation with your supervisor and mentor, adapted to your specific competence and previous experience. Since we are a 24/7 operation, evenings and weekends occur. There is also the possibility to work night shifts. Qualifications Licensed nurse. Experience from similar work is meritorious as is multilingualism. Experience with outpatient clinic work is also valued. We place great emphasis on qualities such as collaboration and initiative skills as well as sense of responsibility. It is an advantage if you have a holistic perspective while also seeing the patient's individual concerns. This is to be able to provide good care.
