The Neurology Department in Ystad is an inpatient ward where we care for adult patients with neurological diseases and conditions, often with complex and varying care needs. The work is characterized by teamwork, close collaboration between different professions, and a shared focus on quality, patient safety, and continuous development. We have short communication lines and a closeness to each other that makes collaboration simple. At the hospital we operate around the clock and offer a wide range of specialized care. We provide both acute and planned healthcare with care for each patient. WORK DUTIES As a nurse you lead the team and ensure that our patients receive safe and secure care. You lead and drive person-centered care forward in consultation with the patient and relatives. You have a key role in the operation where your work contributes to high quality care, secure colleagues, and structured and patient-safe care. We work closely together in teams with other professions where the goal is to develop person-centered care. As a nurse you work in a team with two nursing assistants but also have close collaboration with doctors and paramedics. In our daily work we use various technical solutions such as Medanet and digitalized vital sign charts. Our team meetings and pulse meetings help us secure patient care with a focus on sustainability for patients, relatives, and ourselves. We have an operations manager nurse who is responsible for patient flow in and out of the unit and a nursing care leader who coordinates training and professional development on the unit. Both serve as a safe and experienced support and have an ongoing function to relieve the team. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. You have good Swedish language skills, at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. As a person you are positive, interested, flexible, unpretentious, and have the ability to take initiative. You enjoy growing into your role, sharing your knowledge, and contributing to development in everyday work. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. We conduct continuous selection.
