The ward is a well-functioning inpatient unit with capacity for 18 telemetry beds, but currently we have 16 established care beds. With us you work in multidisciplinary teams with close collaboration with all professional groups such as physicians, nursing assistants, coordinators, dietitians, and pharmacists. Here you as a nurse have a defined role in the team with good opportunities to influence your workplace and develop your competence. The hospital has several different operational areas such as specialist clinics, planned surgeries, Surgery and Urology wards, three internal medicine wards, and an emergency department. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We welcome two new colleagues to our Cardiology Ward! As a nurse with us you work in a team close to physicians, nursing assistants, and physiotherapists where the patient is in focus. You work on a care ward with inpatients with a focus on cardiac issues. By working with us you are offered good opportunities related to competence development, both through internal and external training. In addition, you are offered an individually adapted introduction to our operations so that you properly get into your new role. Duties can be assigned to day, evening, and night shifts as well as weekdays and weekends. We use a wish-based scheduling system which means you get the opportunity to create a schedule yourself that you then adapt together with your colleagues so that the ward is staffed around the clock. We work two out of five weekends, if needed in the operations an additional half weekend per ten weeks can be assigned. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse, newly graduated or experienced, with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare. Swedish language skills at least corresponding to C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale is a requirement. You who are applying have a desire to work patient-centered with a holistic perspective and care chain perspective. We appreciate if you have good pedagogical skills, are good at taking own initiatives, and that you have good collaboration skills and a positive view of teamwork. You are a responsible person with a good sense of service and respectful treatment towards both colleagues and patients. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
