We provide acute internal medicine care with a focus on cardiology and our primary catchment area is Landskrona-Svalöv. The department is a well-functioning inpatient unit with capacity for 18 telemetry beds, but currently we have 16 established care beds. The patients you meet, the good work climate, and the close collaboration in the team create a stimulating environment where every day is an opportunity for new knowledge and development. Our department is characterized by being a unified team with a supportive atmosphere.
We work in multidisciplinary teams with close collaboration with all professional groups such as doctors, nursing assistants, care coordinators, dietitians, and pharmacists. As a nurse here, you have a defined role in the team with excellent opportunities to influence your workplace and develop your competence.
The hospital has several different operational areas such as specialist clinics, scheduled surgeries, Surgery and Urology Department, three internal medicine departments, and an emergency department. With us you come to a small and family-like hospital where you're never just one of many. Walking distance to the train station and buses to the hospital make it easy to commute.

DUTIES
We welcome two new colleagues to the Cardiology Department!
As a nurse with us, you work in a team close to doctors, nursing assistants, and physiotherapists with the patient at the center. You work on an inpatient ward with patients with cardiac issues.
By working with us, you are offered excellent opportunities related to professional development, both through internal and external training. Additionally, you are offered an individually tailored introduction to our operations so you can properly settle into your new role.
Duties can be scheduled for day, evening, and night shifts as well as weekdays and weekends. We use a wish schedule which means you get the opportunity to create a schedule yourself which you then adapt together with your colleagues so the department is staffed around the clock. We work two out of five weekends; if needed by the operations, an additional half weekend over ten weeks may be scheduled.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse, newly graduated or experienced, with the authority to work within Swedish healthcare. Swedish language proficiency at least equivalent to C1 according to the Council of Europe scale is a requirement.
You who apply have a desire to work patient-centered with a holistic perspective and care chain perspective. We would like to see that you have good pedagogical ability, are good at taking own initiative, and that you have good cooperation skills and a positive view of teamwork. You are a responsible person with a good sense of service and respectful treatment of both colleagues and patients. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
