About the Operations
The Northern Primary Care Area encompasses the hospital in Örnsköldsvik and six regionally operated health centers. The area also includes a private health center and a municipal operation. The Northern Primary Care Area has approximately 530 employees and two operations managers. The Hematology and Nephrology Department in Örnsköldsvik is part of the Northern Primary Care Area. The department has specialist expertise in hematology and renal care. We are now expanding our operations and seeking four nurses who want to be part of developing care together with us. You will receive individualized orientation from experienced nurses in the department. Together, we work to provide patients with safe care and good treatment.
The positions are permanent full-time employment with a start date by agreement.
Work Responsibilities
As a nurse with us, you work in a multiprofessional team together with physicians, nursing assistants, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, speech-language pathologist, social worker, and dietitian. Working hours are scheduled for day and evening shifts. You work two out of five weekends and have the opportunity to work nights. In this role, you are responsible for, among other things:
- Providing nursing care and support to patients
- Handling and administering medications
- Carrying out prescribed treatments
- Planning, following up, and documenting care interventions
- Collaborating with patients, family members, and other professionals to create safe and secure care.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a licensed nurse
- Has experience working as a nurse
- Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
It is advantageous if you:
- Have knowledge of nephrology and hematology
- Have good knowledge of English in speech and writing
