About the Work
Are you a nurse looking for independent and varied work ranging from intensive rehabilitation to end-of-life care? We are now seeking two new colleagues for our short-term unit, Gårberget.
The short-term units in the City of Gothenburg support patients when they need to regain, maintain, or improve their ability to manage daily life, thereby enabling them to return to their own homes. The unit also cares for patients awaiting placement in care and residential facilities, as well as patients in their final stages of life. Within the short-term unit, there is a steady patient flow with admissions and discharges. You will work in an interdisciplinary team where occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, and nurses collaborate.
Together we create good and equitable care for our patients and ensure they achieve an optimal life situation. In our operations, you will have the opportunity to develop and influence care. Participation is something we encourage, and you will make a difference! You will work 38.25 hours per week, primarily during daytime hours, though evening shifts also occur.
You will work in a competent and driven work group where an unpretentious approach is valued. We invest in competence development, internal training, and offer various career and development opportunities. We provide secure employment terms with excellent benefits, and we want you to have a good work environment with balance between work and leisure. When you feel good at work, you do good work, which ultimately results in a positive care experience for our patients.
About You
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. It is meritorious if you have experience in, for example, palliative care, psychiatry, or other areas that the employer deems relevant to the operation. You have relevant professional experience, preferably within municipal health and medical care at primary care level or equivalent. A B driver's license is a requirement for the position.
Since the work as a nurse with us is independent, you have the ability to make decisions within the scope of your assignment, or in dialogue with colleagues. You take responsibility for your own and shared work tasks with the patient in focus. You show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role. You are flexible and can quickly adapt to new situations and unexpected events. Furthermore, you have good communication skills and can adjust your information according to the situation and the patient's needs.
We look forward to receiving your application!
