JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Work as a nurse in a residential care facility is largely independent and involves assessing, planning, organizing, and performing medical treatment and care interventions for patients in the care facility for whom you have nursing responsibility. The work is varied and includes everything from medical assessments, specimen collection, and wound dressing changes to more advanced medical care.
You are responsible for the patient's care process and participate in multidisciplinary teams together with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and care assistants. You also maintain close contact with family members and serve as an important link between the patient and other healthcare providers. As a nurse with us, you are responsible for supervising and delegating care personnel; you are also a support for other team members around the patient. Your knowledge and experience are valuable, which is why it is part of your role to contribute to the facility's improvement work.
Collaboration is a large part of your role and a success factor in the assignment. You need to be able to work with both acute issues and long-term goals.
We work daytime hours, every sixth weekend, and public holidays according to schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a district nurse or a licensed nurse. You have good collaboration skills. For us, this means that you work well with others and can create constructive collaboration for change. To manage the assignment, you need to have a flexible approach and be able to organize and prioritize activities efficiently.
You have good experience with IT-based medical record systems and can express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing. A B driving license is a requirement.
