Welcome with your application! About the Position With us, you will have the opportunity to work daytime, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, with on-call duty only every 6–8 weeks. As a nurse/district nurse with us at Home Healthcare Sydost, you hold care responsibility for enrolled patients aged 18 and older who need healthcare in their homes. We work preventatively in teams with nurses, occupational therapists, care personnel, and a unit manager to provide safe and quality care. We also collaborate with physicians and physical therapists from the region. Since Örebro residents can freely choose care providers, you will work with both our own municipal operations and private providers. For us, it is important to take a person-centered and rehabilitative approach with our patients' wishes and needs in focus. The assignment consists of varied tasks, which provides opportunity for variety and challenges. Examples of Work Tasks: As a nurse/district nurse: you work according to the care process with medical care for patients, independent planning, implementation of measures, follow-up/evaluation of interventions you provide advice and guidance, perform examinations and treatments based on independent assessments you work with preventive health efforts you work with medication management and delegate tasks to care personnel As a district nurse: you have extra responsibility for promoting structured working methods to your colleagues you have prescribing rights and use your knowledge of medication properties, prescriptions, and their side effects based on specialized knowledge, you make cost-effective choices for examination and treatment you mentor colleagues in areas requiring education and are a driving force toward Nearby Care About the Workplace Home Healthcare Sydost is one of five home healthcare areas in Örebro Municipality. Our service area consists of urban and rural districts in a varied and pleasant area. Our unit is in an exciting development phase where we are working on various development projects such as a coordinator function. The goal is to improve accessibility for residents and improve the work environment for employees. As a nurse with us, you are offered exciting work with patient groups of different ages. The assignment consists of varied tasks, which provides opportunity for variety and challenges. The Care and Services Department is part of the Social Services Administration. Operations include care and services, preventive activities, authority functions within this area, as well as residential placement and housing adaptation. Qualifications As a nurse, you are confident in yourself and have good self-awareness. You thrive with having your own areas of responsibility and take charge of your work tasks in an independent and structured way. Being attentive and accommodating in your interactions with both colleagues and patients is something you take for granted. You are clear in your communication and have the ability to ensure that information reaches its destination. Furthermore, you easily adapt to changing circumstances and see opportunities and solutions in what you face. You also master the Swedish language in a way that allows you to communicate with patients and other staff, as well as document what the operations require. Since the work involves digital documentation in operational systems, good computer skills are required. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
