Ystad Hospital is an acute care hospital offering a broad range of specialized healthcare. In addition to inpatient beds, the hospital has maternity services and clinics within several specialties. The ENT clinic is part of the Surgical, Orthopedic, ENT, Intensive and Perioperative Care operational area. At the clinic, we receive patients for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation. We have a day surgery unit, access to an operating suite, and inpatient beds for both children and adults. Within the unit, there is an audiology clinic as well as a sleep and CPAP clinic. JOB DUTIES We are now looking for you to join our dedicated team and contribute your experience, knowledge, and commitment! Here you will work with common nursing tasks at an ENT clinic. This includes telephone consultations and appointment scheduling, as well as assisting with acute and scheduled physician consultations. In addition to these tasks, you may also assist with outpatient procedures, perform wound dressings, and schedule surgeries for our waiting patients. The clinic has a total of seven nurses, four of whom focus on our sleep and CPAP clinic and three on the ENT clinic. The clinic is open Monday through Friday. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you if you are a licensed nurse with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare and have Swedish language skills at least equivalent to level C1 on the Council of Europe scale. We want you to have several years of experience as a nurse and experience in ENT operations. It is a merit for the position if you have experience assisting in outpatient procedures. We also welcome good knowledge of healthcare administrative systems such as Melior, 1177, and PASiS. You are engaged, attentive, and confident in your professional role. We place great emphasis on good collaboration and communication skills, as well as the desire to drive the operation forward in a positive spirit. Additionally, you have the ability to work independently and provide good patient care. Personal suitability is given great weight. Salary by agreement, in the range of approximately 35,000 to 44,000 kr/month depending on experience and competence.
